Upon moving back to Detroit in August of 2016, I worked with Pewabic Pottery to design and construct a pair of mobile kilns that they used to conduct a series of Knight Foundation sponsored free public programs in the summer of 2017. The kiln designs were inspired by Pewabic’s Tudor style architecture, and constructed atop pre-built carts that roll easily out of a trailer that they pull behind their mobile museum / van.
